Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. About the service

SnapMedia is an independent tool for processing eligible public media from supported platforms. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. The service is currently free and does not require an account.

2. Eligibility and your responsibilities

You must have legal capacity to use the service or appropriate permission from a parent or guardian. Submit only content you own, have permission from every relevant rights holder to copy, or are otherwise legally entitled to copy. A video being public does not itself give you permission to download, reuse, or distribute it.

3. Platform rules and prohibited uses

You are responsible for complying with the source platform’s terms and any applicable law. Do not use SnapMedia for private, paywalled, access-controlled, DRM-protected, or otherwise restricted content. Do not infringe copyright, evade technical protection, misrepresent ownership, harass others, overload the service, or make abusive automated requests. SnapMedia does not grant permission from any platform.

4. How downloads work

You submit a public link and choose MP4 or MP3 and a quality option. The server retrieves and temporarily processes the media, then makes the finished file available through a temporary download URL. Standard video targets up to 720p, HD up to 1080p when available, and MP3 is offered at 128 or 192 kbps. This version limits source duration to 30 minutes and output size to about 300 MB.

5. Temporary files and links

Prepared files normally expire after about one hour. A person who has the temporary download URL may access the file while it exists, so do not share that URL. This is not a permanent storage or backup service. A restart can end an active job.

6. Copyright concerns

If you believe media processed through SnapMedia infringes your rights, contact ahmed.alhennawi9@gmail.com and follow the Copyright Policy at /copyright. The operator may remove an available temporary file or restrict misuse where technically possible. Source-platform content should also be reported to that platform when appropriate.

7. Availability and changes

Supported platforms can change their formats, rules, or access controls. A public link may not be downloadable. The operator may impose reasonable limits or suspend the service for security, capacity, legal, or technical reasons. Material changes to these terms should be posted here with an updated date.

8. Voluntary support and advertising

Buy Me a Coffee support is voluntary and does not change access to downloads. No paid advertising network is active in this version; visible advertising spaces, if any, are inactive placeholders.

9. Liability and your rights

The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or support for any particular source. You are responsible for your use of downloaded material. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The operator’s liability for other losses is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Disputes and contact

For questions or disputes, first contact ahmed.alhennawi9@gmail.com. The governing-law and court wording must be reviewed when the operator’s legal identity and establishment are confirmed. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply. This policy is a working draft until those details and the hosting arrangements are finalised.
